DESCRIPTION

Twelve doors, twelve small pauses in your morning: the 12 Days of Effortless Beauty Advent Calendar holds 12 of our best-loved products plus surprises sold nowhere else, in a festive collector's edition shaped by the easy-beauty approach of Romee Strijd, the face of the Meroda calendar.

Open a drawer and there’s one more reason to enjoy getting ready. Everything inside was picked to keep your routine simple and let you look like yourself: skin-led bestsellers, daily staples and gifts that exist nowhere but here.

Inside sits a full makeup routine, with daily minis sitting beside full-sized classics: a travel size of the iconic Changing Foundation, a primer that softens pores, lip and cheek tints, eye-defining favourites and a foundation brush made only for this set. 

Counting down to Christmas, handing yourself 12 small pockets of joy, or passing on some well-earned confidence to someone you love - either way, this one is worth unwrapping.

HOW TO USE

The pieces in this calendar were built as a set. Nothing fiddly, nothing that drags on - just an easy routine that leaves you looking like yourself. Here is the order to use them in.

  1. Begin on skin that is clean and well moisturised. A little primer across the T-zone softens the look of pores and keeps shine down.
  2. Dispense a little Changing Foundation and work it over the face with the Travel Foundation Brush, moving from the middle outwards so the finish stays natural.
  3. Run the Eyeliner across the lash line, beginning at the inner corner and carrying it out towards the edge to frame the eye.
  4. Add a coat of Mascara next. Work the wand upwards from root to tip with a small side-to-side wiggle so nothing gets missed.
  5. Reach for the Precision Brow Gel to hold the brows in shape. Short upward flicks at the inner corner lift the hairs from the root; after that, trace your own arch out to the tail and settle them where you want them.
  6. Tap a little Liquid Blush onto the rounds of the cheeks and press it in with your fingertips for a healthy wash of colour.
  7. Finish on lips however the day calls for it: a sweep of Velvet Lipstick when you want something dressier, or Hydrating Lip Tint for that "your lips but better" look.
  8. Seal it all with a hydrating veil of Setting Spray. Give the bottle a good shake, keep it roughly 6–8 cm from your skin and sweep the mist around in a circle until the face is evenly covered.

Each drawer hands you another formula that treats skin well and still looks lovely on. We pair makeup that performs with skincare ingredients chosen on purpose to hydrate, calm and look after skin all day, because how it feels matters as much as how it looks.

Changing Foundation: Bisabolol to calm, alongside a Hydrating Complex.

Hydrating Lip Tint: Pro-collagen peptides with botanical oils that nourish.

Velvet Dream Lipstick: Botanical oils plus prickly pear extract to keep lips comfortable.

Vibrant Cheeks Liquid Blush: Squalane and botanical oils deliver light hydration and an easy glow.

Velvet Skin Primer: Vitamin E to nourish, with Bisabolol to calm.

Gilded Lashes Mascara: Glycerin for hydration, ginseng for strength.

Eye Perfecting Shimmer Stick: Bisabolol that soothes, plus botanical oils that feed.

Precision Brow Gel: Prickly pear extract for moisture, soymilk ferments to calm.

Final Touch Setting Spray: A Hydrating Complex, together with calming Ophiopogon japonicus extract.

Works on skin that is dry, mature or easily irritated.
